Personalized Interior Design Services for Every Home
Creating a beautiful home is about more than choosing furniture or flooring—it's about bringing every element together to reflect your personal style and the way you live. At Stanson Floor Covering & Furniture, our interior design services are designed to help make the process enjoyable, stress-free, and inspiring.
Since 1987, we've helped homeowners throughout Alpena and Northeast Michigan create spaces that are both beautiful and functional. Whether you're updating a single room or planning a complete home makeover, our experienced team is here to provide personalized guidance every step of the way.
In-Store Design Consultations
Our showroom is more than a place to shop—it's a place to gather ideas, compare styles, and receive expert advice.
During your consultation, we'll take the time to understand your vision, preferences, and budget to help you make confident design decisions.
From your first visit, our goal is to make the process simple, enjoyable, and tailored to your needs.
Room Layout Planning
Every room should be both beautiful and functional. We help you create layouts that maximize comfort, improve flow, and ensure your furniture works well within your space.
Whether you're furnishing a cozy living room, redesigning a bedroom, or creating a welcoming dining area, we'll help you develop a layout that complements your lifestyle.
Flooring & Furniture Coordination
One of the biggest challenges homeowners face is choosing flooring and furniture that work together.
Our experienced team helps coordinate finishes, colors, textures, and materials so your entire space feels balanced and cohesive.
Whether you're selecting hardwood floors for a new dining room or choosing the perfect sofa to complement your luxury vinyl flooring, we're here to guide you every step of the way.
Color & Material Selection
Choosing colors and materials can feel overwhelming with so many options available. We'll help simplify the process by recommending combinations that fit your home's style, lighting, and overall design goals.
From flooring textures and wood finishes to upholstery fabrics and decorative accents, we'll help you create a look you'll love for years to come.
Styling Guidance
Sometimes it's the small details that make the biggest impact.
Our team can help you complete your space with furniture placement ideas, accent pieces, lighting, décor, and finishing touches that bring warmth, personality, and balance to every room.
Whether your style is traditional, contemporary, rustic, or somewhere in between, we'll help create a space that feels uniquely yours.
